Malaysia Enterprises Investment Association (MEIA) is a national non-profit industry organization registered under The Registry of Societies of Malaysia. Formed by a group of industry players hailing from venture capital enterprises, financial institutions, and enthusiastic venture capitalist with the objective of acting as an excellent platform and avenue for SEA businesses to provide trade and investment related knowledge and information on China

The role of MEIA includes representing its members in participating in international businesses in China and to protect and promote the interests of the stakeholders. We play the role of examining the suitability, risk and capital preservation of any project to ensure that potential start-ups are adequately assisted by value added funds and know-how of sophisticated business partners.

MEIA is well connected with both the private and public sectors within Malaysia, Asean countries and China. This is indeed a privileged advantage not enjoyed by any other organization. MEIA’s role is acknowledged by China, as seen in the recent “One Belt One Road” Conference organized by China in which MEIA was invited to participate alongside with Heads of Governments of participating nations.

Aims

• To promote the close rapport and links both within and outside of Malaysia in order to reach a consensus on important topics by providing supports and services.
• To provide policy advice, exchange of information and notification on related issues to encourage members to obtain and development business opportunities on trading, cultural, and technology industry.
• To serve as a platform for members to interact and unite with elites to enhance overall competitiveness.
• To collaborate with the Government and related agencies in the promotion of sustainable technology, statistical resources and data exchange in order to improve the quality of service.
• To provide one-stop solutions on investment related information and support for China businesses and individuals based in Southeast Asia.
• To find out and study the latest market outlook and the future prospects of the asset management industry.
